Paris
The city of lights is breathtakingly beautiful. With so much to do, it's hard to choose where to begin! Here's a quick list of a few of my Paris favorites:
Stay in the 5th arrondissement for a lovely less pricey Paris experience. The quaint Latin Quarter is filled with cafes and bookshops, including the landmark Shakespeare & Company. There's plenty to see here yet it's easy to pop on the public transit and it's within walking distance to many of the main attractions. Search VRBO rentals in the 5th arrondissement and find a fabulous place.
If you're limited on time and can only get to one art museum make it The Louvre Museum. It is a must see. It's easy to be overwhelmed with all of the amazing works here, my best suggestion is to sit down with your map after entry and decide specifically what you want to see. Map it out and gauge the time otherwise you'll get lost and end up spending 4 - 5 hours which is unecessary.
Not too far away is the fantastic Sainte-Chapelle a royal chapel which was residence to the Kings of France until the 14th century. It's well worth a stop here.
Take a river cruise. The River Seine is gorgeoues and it's interesting to see the city by water.
Book ahead and take the elevator to at least the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. It is truly a remarkable experience you will not forget. Take a moment to savour the magic of this Paris icon further by booking a table at Madame Brasserie. Located on the 1st floor, this truly Parisian style restaurant was recently inaugurated in June 2022.
If you're in the world's most fabulous fashion capital of course you have to shop! Make a stop at the Galeries Lafayette the very best shopping mall in Paris.
